Apple has recently announced the iPhone SE2. This phone is intended to be one that a lot more people can afford. Up until this point, prices had been increasing to upwards of $1,000 for a phone, but the iPhone SE2 starts at just $399. This phone will be available in black, white and product red. Every product red iPhone SE2 that sells will go to a fund supporting COVID - 19 relief.
These phones will ship on April 24, 2020. Apple is offering three different storage options with this phone: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It also has a Retina HD Display and a 4.7 inch screen. This phone is extremely similar to the iPhone XR, except this phone only offers Touch ID, not Face ID. It also offers a True Tone display so that the brightness is always comfortable for the user.
As far as the camera goes, it is a 12MP wide camera. It has digital zoom up to 5X. This may sound impressive to Apple users, but the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a digital zoom of 100X. That’s right, the camera can zoom in one hundred times. That is pretty much unheard of as far as mobile phones go. The iPhone SE2’s camera has portrait mode with six different effects. Along with all this, the camera includes red eye correction, and auto image stabilization.
As I mentioned earlier, this phone has Touch ID, which is a downgrade from other phones, but makes it cheaper. The phone allows users to FaceTime over WiFi and cellular. This phone comes with a lighting connector, so Apple has not decided to put USB-C ports on their phones yet, even though we will probably be seeing that in the future. This phone also charges very fast, and can get up to 50% in just thirty minutes. It comes with iOS13 installed.
