Apple has released the 2020 MacBook Air, and a lot of people are going to like the changes that they made. One of the biggest changes that they made was the addition of the Magic Keyboard. All of the old MAcBooks Air’s featured a butterfly keyboard, which had .7mm of key travel. To a lot of people, this felt very mushy, and like they had to try really had to hit the keys. The new Magic Keyboard has only .3mm of key travel, so that users can feel like they are typing lighter, but still managing to get everything typed out that they want. This new keyboard is something that a lot of people have been looking forward to for a long time now.
Another addition to the 2020 version of the MacBook Air is the True Tone display, which changes the lighting on the screen to match the lighting around it. This is good for people who like to work at night because the screen will automatically adjust to be dimmer. This year’s keyboard also features a Touch ID scanner on the top right hand side, but this is nothing new. The MacBook Air still has it’s same nice, sleek design as it previously had, just with some more technology upgrades to go along with it this year.
I think that this could be a really good laptop for students. Apple added more storage to it, and took $100 dollars off the price from last year's model, so this could be a great opportunity for any student looking to either get their first MacBook, or just to upgrade it. You can get the new Space Gray 2020 MacBook Air using this link for $978.79, $21 dollars cheaper than at apple.com, or get the silver or gold colors using the same link for $999.
