In case you haven’t heard about it, Paperlike is a company that makes screen protectors for iPads that make it feel like paper when you are writing on it. I just received mine yesterday, so here is the review on it.
The paperlike comes in a nice paper package with their logo on it. When you open it up, you will pull out two screen protectors, two wet wipes, one large dry wipe, two sets of three guide stickers, a help sticker, and a dust remover. All of these come inside the packaging, and are pretty easy to find.
Let’s go over all of these tools. The wet wipes are to write down your iPad screen before you put the iPad on so that you get it clean. If you don’t get it clean, you will be able to tell underneath the screen protector. The dry wipe is used to get any excess liquid off of your screen after you use the wet wipes. You use the guide stickers to align the screen protector on your iPad, and then you place the help sticker on the top of the screen protector to make a hinge for the screen protector. You use the dust remover like a piece of tape to pick up any dust off of your screen. Paperlike has an amazing tutorial on this, and you can use this link to watch it.
I really like how this screen protector feels when I am writing on it. To be honest, it doesn’t feel exactly like paper, but I like the feel a lot more than the slippery glass feel that I was writing on before. The color looks pretty much the same, maybe just a little bit different if anything. Even though the video that I linked above has a lot of good tips to help you put it on, I still felt like it was a little difficult to put it on. My screen protector is almost perfectly straight, maybe a little bit off.
You can get the 12.9 inch Paperlike using this link or the 11 inch Paperpike using this link. (Both of these links for the iPad Pro). Overall, I really like this screen protector, although it is a little bit difficult to put on. I recommend that you get one of these if you write or draw a lot using your iPad.
