Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) is looking to partner up with a Chinese company in order to get a foothold in China’s internet-search market.
Microsoft is planning to expand in China, without a doubt, which includes investing in Chinese companies, up to $100 million.
Microsoft also indicated it will target companies in sectors including software, cloud computing, and maybe even gaming.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)

Apple, Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) live videocast will begin later today, and it will be the first time in 5 years Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) will stream a media events live to its users.
But the company is only broadcasting to people with Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) products, meaning Snow Leopard Mac or iOS device like the iPhone and iPad, live.
Some have speculated that Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is merely testing HTML 5 video streaming capabilities.
Others say Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) wants to test out the server capacity at its new North Carolina data center.
Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG)

Google, Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has a good working relationship with California Representative Anna Eschoo, with CEO Eric Schmidt having once described Eschoo as “almost the perfect example of a congressperson” who “understands what we need”.
But in the issue over Internet traffic rules between Google, Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) and Verizon, Eschoo isn’t taking Google, Inc.’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) side, saying it could limit consumer choice in the future if companies are allowed to play favorites with internet traffic.
We could see more movement as the exchanges continue for Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG).
