It is expected that the tax rate increase will make the country lose Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ), but the Irish government said that Irish taxes are only “under discussion.”
Ylvain Broyer, chief euro-region economist at Natixis in Frankfurt said “They might have to adjust tax rates at some point but not during an emergency situation it would be a grave mistake.”
