Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has said that it will not put embedded simcards in its iPhones.

Citing unidentified people having knowledge of the matter, the FT has reported that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will not be considering embedding Subscriber Identity Modules [SIM], even in the upcoming iPhone, the iPhone 5, which is expected to be launched by mid 2011.

The newspaper also reported that service providers such as Vodafone Group Plc, Telefonica SA and France Telecom SA are against an embedded SIM that allows switching among multiple providers.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) is the target of legal action after allegedly scanning non-gmail accounts.

A legal suit filed by a Texas man claims that Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has violated the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986. According to the case filed at the Federal court, Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) scanned the emails, which were sent by the non-gmail user, without his consent.

The complainant said that, “No consent from non-Gmail account holders is given prior to Google using the content of non-Gmail account holders for the purpose of delivering targeted ads and other related information to Gmail account holders,” the complaint, filed in US District court in Texarkana.

We could see more movement as the stock exchanges continue for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), IBM (NYSE:IBM) and Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG).
